$619.75 CCB Payment 2024 : Know When $619.75 Monthly Canada Child Benefit Payment is Coming ?

Eligibility criteria for $619.75 CCB Payment

For the child:

  • You need to be under 18 years old.
  • Person should be citizen of Canada or hold the status of permanent resident.
  • Live with the applicant for at least half of the year.

For the applicant:

  1. Live with a child who is under 18 years of age and the child must be the dependent and reside with the applicant for at least half of the year.
  2. Applicant must be primarily responsible for the care and upbringing of the child which includes child’s daily activities, meeting their medical needs, and arranging childcare when required.
  3. Permanent resident of Canada for tax purposes. Either applicant or spouse can be:
    1. Canadian citizen
    2. Permanent resident
    3. Protected person
    4. Temporary resident who lived in Canada from past 18 months and holds a valid permit (except for permits stating “does not confer status” or “does not confer temporary resident status”).
    5. An individual registered under the Indian Act.

Exclusions:

  • One can’t receive CCB for foster child during months when Children’s Special Allowances (CSA) are payable.
  • If one cares for the child under close relationship program approved by federal government, then they may still receive the CCB if CSA is not payable for that child.

Female Parent: When there is a single female parent, then she is responsible for the upbringing of all children at home. If the child resides with same-sex parents, only one parent should apply for all children in the house.

Payment amount for $619.75 CCB Payment

  1. For each child under 6 years of age: $7,437 per year (equivalent to $619.75 per month).
  2. For each child aged 6 to 17 years: $6,275 per year (equivalent to $522.92 per month).
  3. If the child qualifies for the Child Disability Benefit: Additional $3,173 per year ($264.41 per month.)
  4. Adjusted Family Net Income (AFNI): The more the profits, the lower the CCB payment. If the total CCB payment amount for the tax year is less than $240, then the applicant won’t receive monthly payment. Instead, they will receive lump-sum payment with July payment.
